Patents+
With a budget of EUR 20 million, Mimit aims to significantly promote the development of an effective patent strategy and to enhance the competitive capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. This will be done through targeted incentives for the purchase of specialist services. These services are essential for the economic exploitation of a patent, thus helping to improve profitability, productivity and market development. In this way, it aims to provide concrete support to companies, stimulating innovation and growth in a constantly evolving economic environment. The measure provides for a non-repayable contribution of up to €140,000, with a maximum limit of 80% on eligible costs, up to 85% for companies with gender equality certification. This contribution is intended to acquire specialised services essential for the economic exploitation of the patent and its integration into the production and organisational processes of the applicant company, with the aim of improving competitiveness in the market.
Drawings+
EUR 10 million has been allocated to support the enhancement of designs and models through grants. The facilitation covers projects aimed at enhancing a design or model, as explained in Article 31 of the Industrial Property Code. Costs relating to the design and its protection, i.e. the appearance of the product or part thereof, including the characteristics of lines, contours, colours, shape, surface structure or material of the product and its ornament, shall be eligible. The facilities can reach up to 80% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of 60,000 euros, taking into account the limits set for each type of service, for example 13,000 euros for the construction of prototypes and 35,000 euros for the creation of moulds.
