Call for SMEs and professionals: Campania Region allocates funds for innovation

After the remarkable success of the Regional Fund for Growth, a financial initiative promoted by the Campania Region and managed by the company in house Development Campania, which has seen the disbursement of about 300 million in favour of 3,000 companies, the new Growth Fund is now launched. There are 93 million and 460 thousand euros of Fesr Campania funds for the period 2021-2027, for small and micro-enterprises, as well as for professionals. Today the new notice of the Regional Fund for Campania-FRC Growth was published in the Official Bulletin of the Campania Region, which supports funding aimed at enhancing competitiveness and promoting innovative processes. The investments submitted must include a programme of expenditure of between EUR 30,000 and a maximum of EUR 150,000.

The benefits will cover the eligible expenditure programme in full, with a 50% breakdown in the form of a grant and the remaining 50% as a zero-rate financing. Applications may be sent from 12 noon on 18 September 2024 until 12 noon on 18 October 2024, exclusively in telematic mode. As of September 4, the forms required for the application will be available on the official sites of the Campania Region and Campania Development.

The Notice provides for a financing of EUR 93.460,000 under Action 1.3.1 of the Campania ERDF 2021-2027 PR, aimed at supporting the competitiveness, innovation and internationalisation of enterprises, in line with the Intelligent Specialization Strategy RIS 3 Campania 2021-2027 and contributing to the objectives of the STEP Platform, promoting the development of crucial technologies and quality jobs in strategic sectors, thus strengthening the sovereignty and economic security of the European Union, investments must respect the DNSH principle to ensure that significant damage is not caused to the environmental objectives established by the European Union, the Manager of the Regional Fund for Growth Campania FRC II Edition is represented by the company in the Campania Development Region Campania SpA.

Beneficiaries

Small and micro enterprises that have been established and regularly registered in the Chamber of Commerce Business Register for at least 12 months before the publication of the BURC Notice number 53 of 29 July 2024, as well as free professionals with active VAT numbers for at least 12 months before the same date, may benefit from the initiative. Investment projects must be carried out in a local unit located in the Campania region. In the event that the place of operation envisaged for the intervention is not yet active, the applicant shall undertake, at the time of submission of the application, to activate it on the regional territory within the deadline for the request of the first State of Progress Project, which shall be set at six months from the date of delivery of the anticipation.

Eligibility

Gli investimenti ammessi comprendono l’acquisto di macchinari, impianti e beni immateriali oltre a interventi di riordino e ristrutturazione aziendale da realizzare nella Regione Campania, con l’intento di potenziare la competitività delle imprese, promuovere l’integrazione di tecnologie innovative e sostenere i processi di trasformazione. La Regione Campania, attraverso Sviluppo Campania, ha la possibilità di finanziare progetti che siano allineati con le aree tematiche della Piattaforma STEP, incluse le tecnologie digitali, le iniziative a livello internazionale, le innovazioni nel campo delle tecnologie deep tech, le tecnologie sostenibili e quelle a zero emissioni, oltre alle biotecnologie e ai medicinali critici con i relativi componenti. Nella domanda di partecipazione, i candidati sono tenuti a indicare se il progetto si inserisce in una delle categorie della Piattaforma, accettando il finanziamento qualora la Regione Campania verifichi la compatibilità con i fondi disponibili.

Spese ammissibili

Spese ammissibili includono impianti e macchinari, apparecchiature elettroniche e hardware, oltre a lavori di impiantistica. Sono comprese anche soluzioni avanzate per l’innovazione organizzativa, il marketing, l’interazione con il consumatore e lo sviluppo di tecnologie altamente specializzate. Tra le voci di spesa rientrano software, sistemi e applicazioni informatiche, insieme a spese amministrative, studi di fattibilità e costi per attestazioni tecnico-contabili e garanzie.

Tipologia ed entità di agevolazione

Gli investimenti possono variare in un range di spesa che va da 30.000 a 150.000 euro. Le agevolazioni previste copriranno l’intero ammontare della spesa ammissibile, suddividendosi in un contributo a fondo perduto pari al 50% e in un finanziamento a tasso zero per il restante 50%, da rimborsare nell’arco di 5 anni.

Modalità e termini di presentazione delle domande

Dal 4 settembre 2024 saranno disponibili sui siti della Regione Campania e di Sviluppo Campania i moduli per presentare la Domanda di agevolazione. È possibile scaricare il modello di domanda di agevolazione per le IMPRESE e per i PROFESSIONISTI ai collegamenti forniti. La Domanda di Agevolazione potrà essere presentata esclusivamente in modalità telematica a partire dalle ore 12 del 18 settembre 2024 fino alle ore 12 del 18 ottobre 2024 tramite la piattaforma designata.

Modalità di selezione delle domande

Le domande di agevolazione saranno selezionate mediante una procedura valutativa a “graduatoria”.
